2026 C-IDEA Design Award Ceremony Successfully Held in Krosno, Poland

At 12:00 noon local time in Poland on September 5, 2026, the international award ceremony co-organized by the C-IDEA Design Award and the Krosno Design Festival was grandly held during the International Award Gala at the Krosno Museum of Crafts (Auditorium of the State Academy of Applied Sciences in Krosno), Poland.

The ceremony proceeded in a solemn and orderly manner. A number of distinguished guests took the stage to deliver remarks for the C-IDEA Design Award. They included Marta Rymar, Director of the Krosno Museum of Crafts; Piotr Przytocki, Mayor of Krosno; Professor Zbigniew Barabasz, Rector of the State Academy of Applied Sciences in Krosno; and Professor Xu Li, Academician of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts. Speaking from an international design development perspective, the guests helped advance the competition and global design exchange.

The award presentation proceeded in an orderly sequence. Professor Barnabas from Design School Kolding, Denmark, took the stage to announce the winners of the various awards in this year’s competition. Award-winning designers from Poland, India, Japan, the United States, the Czech Republic, Spain, Hungary, and other countries attended the event in person to witness this highlight moment.

Piotr Przytocki, Mayor of Krosno, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech, presenting honors on site to this year’s Gold Award winners. This fully demonstrated the local government’s emphasis on and support for the C-IDEA Design Award and international creative and cultural endeavors.

The C-IDEA Design Award ceremony and C-IDEA Exhibition held in Poland this time marked another touring stop in Europe after China, Russia, Australia, Germany, South Korea, and other countries. It became a high-level international design event integrating honor presentation, academic discussion, and the exhibition of award-winning works.
